Out-of-Work Book Sign-In 

If you need to sign the Out-of-Work Book, you may do so in person, fax or by email.

Local Members: Please provide a copy of your dues receipt and your termination slip.

Travelers: Please bring or email your Travel Letter (including whether or not you completed an apprenticeship progra, D.O.B., SSN, Phone Number and Email for Labor Power entry) along with your dues receipt.

***ANNUAL RESIGN***

Any Members wanting to remain on the Out Of Work Book must resign annually.  Resigns must be done via email @ resignbook@ibew716.net. , fax @ (713)-868-6342 or in person. Please submit a copy of your dues receipt and state that you are doing your annual resign.

Code of Excellence classes will be held every 3rd Wednesdays of the month from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.   Please scan the QR code to register.

TAKING A JOB CALL

Job calls will be posted by 5pm each day on the website and the job line. Applicants can sign the day sheet either in person between 8am and 9am the day of referral, call in between 8am and 9am the day of referral or email to daysheet@ibew716.net between 5 pm the day before referral up to 8am the day of referral to be placed on the day sheet. When placing your name on the day sheet include: full name, card number and phone number. (If multiple calls are available, please specify the call or calls you are interested in). All applicants must meet all requirements for a job referral before roll call begins. Calls will be filled in order the applicants are registered on the book. Starting at 9:30am, the Dispatcher will start calling to fill the job calls. All applicants accepting a referral over the phone must pick up referral and any associated paperwork by 12 noon unless otherwise stated. If applicant accepts a referral over the phone and comes to the hall to get referral without the required documents requested for the job call, the applicant will have to resign the bottom of the book.  Also, if applicant fails to report to pick up the referral after accepting the job call, you will need to come in in person to resign the bottom of the book.  **Emails before 5:00 pm business day or after 8:00 am business day will NOT be accepted**-

11- Journeyman Job Calls –
2– Fisk Electric – 
 – Foxconn– Applicant must pass a mandatory drug test and background check, have a valid DL, SS Card, and a valid TX Electrical License. Will be working 6(10s) with a 6 am start time, must be able to work overtime. Report to shop Thursday, June 11, 2026 @ 7:00 AM for orientation and paperwork.
1 – Mid-West Electric – 
 – Chevron Downtown– Applicant must pass a mandatory drug test and background check, have a valid DL, OSHA 10, SS Card, and a valid TX Electrical License. Must report to shop immediately after roll call for paperwork and orientation
6 – Nantze, Inc. – 
 – Wharton, TX – Applicant must pass a mandatory drug test, have a valid DL, SS Card, and TX Electrical License. Will be working a minimum of 5(10’s)with a 6:00 am start time, and prior PVC/conduit experience is required. Must report to shop immediately after roll call for paperwork and orientation.
1– Aaron Carter Electric – 
 – Service Truck– Applicant must pass a mandatory drug test and background check, have a valid DL, SS Card, OSHA 30, and a valid TX JW Electrical License. Must be a non-smoker, CPR Certified, and have completed COE. Must have technical knowledge for Generator installs and troubleshooting problems. Must be customer service-focused, able to make logical decisions on emergency calls, and able to use job apps. Must report to shop immediately after roll call for orientation and paperwork.
1 – Anadarko Industries LLC – 
– NASA Space Center – **Construction Department**Applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen, must be able to pass a full respirator physical, be willing/able to wear a respirator, and be clean-shaven on start date. Applicant must provide a certified birth certificate (with state seal). A passport or INS Citizenship document, a TX JW Electrical License, a valid DL, and SS Card. (Names on all documents must be the same.  Will be working Monday thought Thursday on a 4(10’s) schedule. Must complete all required paperwork as soon as possible and be ready to report to the jobsite upon request.
